Today -

I didn't go for a walk outside because the weather looks bad and it seemed kind of cold. (Yes, I know it's just an excuse.) Poor Zarina probably wishes she had a more outdoorsy mom. I did exercise inside for a little bit. Z enjoyed stepping on the mat and getting in my way, but it was still fun. I also had the pleasure of sweeping and mopping the kitchen, living room, hallway, and bathroom. I'm excited to say that, unlike the last time I did this, I can remember how long it's been since I mopped. When we bought the new mop bucket I told Brien I could then mop more often. (We bought him an electric razor a few years ago because he said he would shave more often. I won't comment on that.) I do like how freshly-mopped hardwood floors feel under barefeet. It's about the only time in my house that I leave my shoes off. I don't want to let the dog out of his kennel because I know that fur will fall off him and dirty my floors.

I should now take a quick shower since Z is waking up from her nap. I won't feel guilty because she sounds little grumpy, and I don't want to deal with a grumpy baby; at least for another fifteen minutes.
