A great gift for kids . . .
If you have a Costco membership and know a little kid, they have a great buy right now on line. The Fisher Price Little People Noah's Ark. It was less than $11 with tax; shipping was included in the price. Zarina got her's today, but Brien and I are thinking that we will wait until a holiday or her birthday to give it to her. Zarina doesn't have a toy like this, but likes playing with the "Little People" toys in nursery. (By the way I don't think I've mentioned that I was put in as a nursery leader two Sundays ago. This past Sunday they released the other nursery leader, I wanted to cry.) Back to the toy, it was bigger than I thought it would be, which is okay. I wasn't really thinking about how big the ark would have to be to hold the animals. On Amazon, the same item is $43, and you don't get Noah's wife or the DVD (click here to see the Amazon item); Costco gives you turtles instead of giraffes, but I'm okay with that for $3o less. We probably won't get her any additional animals, because those sets are about $20 on Amazon (I saw a set that was 99.00, likely because it was a collectible, but really, you've got to be kidding me.)

Oh, that is so cute! Hallie has the little people farm and the little people town(not sure if that's what it's technically called. it has a school, apple tree, dentist,doctor, and pet store all attached.)I really want to get the nativity, but it's too expensive.
We have Noah's Ark and it's one of the toys we're keeping from the girls younger years. The girls still play with it... if they could. It was taken away along with a bunch of other toys that I haven't put back because we're limited on space and I need to reorganize again.
My nieces LOVED their Noah's ark. It came in handy for so many different occasions. My sister used a number of the animals as birthday cake toppers. It's a great toy. Zarina will love it.
Hee hee, I saw this on Saturday and went to order one with my mom's Costco card, I tried to order two but it only let me get one (one for my girl and one for the boy I watch turning one next week) and right after my pruchase they were gone! Just got it today and went to check again, still gone, guess I got the last one. ToysrUs has them for $25! But I may do it anyway since it's the BOGOon Fisher price toys. Thanks for the heads up, great deal!
