Summer Vacation

With 1 1/2 feet of snow still trying to melt in my front yard I've started thinking about summer. A sibling of ours (who will remain anonymous) is planning to go to Great Basin National Park with us this August, probably near the beginning of the month. If you think you want to join our happy families, let me know, maybe we can work something out and have a fun group camping trip!

Lilah would love your snow.
Poor girl.
It's been so warm here, for winter, that I'm never sure when to take her to Mount Charleston to play, plus I don't want to go by myself with two girls.

Okay it's up by you. I remember talking about this place with you guys last time. It's like the most unvisited park in the us right?

We have a baby carrier (baby backpack) that we plan to use on all of the hikes in GBNP. I encourage training if you plan to visit GBNP with us. We have a training schedule that includes hiking or walking 2-3 times a week and long hikes on saturdays, 1 to 3 miles. However all are welcome to come.

Uh, I don't like getting dirty so I think we're out.
;)

I love you're training schedule though. What would you recommend to get a 5 and 3 year old in shape?

ohh, that sounds like fun. (We desperately need a training program like that too.)

What? Are you trying to make me uninvite myself. I'm not getting the feeling you want me there. Why not?

Mary, you were one of the people I thought about when posting an open invite. So don't feel un-invited. Brien just wants Lacey to feel like she can't keep up.

He makes the "training schedule" sound so official and tough. The truth is the snow is melting off the roads and the temp. is warmer here, so we are going for walks when he comes home from work and on the weekends he wants to explore some of the trails in our backyard.
