Until Jan. 15th you can go to the Oprah website and download for free the book Suze Orman's 2009 Action Plan. Whether you really like her or not it could be an interesting read. It doesn't hurt to try and learn more about finances.
Also, if you want to learn your FICO score for free you can go to myfico.com. You have to sign up for the service, but the first 30 days is free. I signed up, found out my FICO score and then looked through the information. It was really easy to cancel it about 2 weeks later, so I didn't have to pay for anything. After 3 weeks they are supposed to remind you that your free trial is ending, just make sure you cancel if you don't want the service they provide.
