The first weekend in June we were able to come to Utah to support Cidnee as she went through the temple. We went back home on Sunday, June 3rd, and my parents showed up for a little visit on Monday. It was the last week of school, so I wasn't able to take any time off, and Brien was already taking time off for the wedding festivities, so my parents were on their own for most of the time. My incredible mom made three of our four bedroom curtains. We didn't have enough backout material and lining, so she took home the 4th piece of material so she can make the last curtain for us. We now need to get curtain rods to display the beautiful creations.
On Wednesday, the last day of school, June 6th we had snow. It didn't stick in the city, a little stayed on the mountains, it was just strange. Even with the chilly weather I wore my shorts to school. The plans to play at the park were scrapped because of the weather, so I was plenty warm inside the building. It wasn't really cold anyways, just an invigorating coolness. My parents went on the train ride that day, mom said she stayed inside by the pellet stove and dad sat in the outside car. I was happy they were able to spend time with us, it was a great visit.
Thursday my parents returned home and I worked for a few hours before heading to UT for the wedding. My feet have decided to swell. They actually became quite swollen last weekend, so I decided I would need wide width shoes for the wedding. I found the right size, but wrong color at Kohl's, so I ordered the right ones on-line. I have no hop left that the shoes will show up today, so I need to go shopping and find an alternative. I can't wear my super-casual Teva flip-flops to the temple tomorrow, or the dinner tonight for that matter.
We are now headed off to the Hogle Zoo for a few hours. Brien loves the zoo and decided to get some of us together for a short excursion. After at 3pm all of us girls are going to get pedicures. This will be my second, the first was for my wedding over a year ago.
