Fat feet

After the ultrasound appointment last Friday (see post below) we left to go to Utah for the third weekend in a row. This time was for Reese's baby blessing. She really is a darling baby, so it was worth it, but it was definitely hard to travel, again. My feet like to swell when I go to Utah. I can't imagine what it will be like in Las Vegas in August. I found some sandals that fit my swollen feet and they still didn't fit on the day of the blessing. Lucky for me I came across some Nike flip-flops with stretchy bands, so they will continue to fit even if my feet become so wide that they want to fall off the sides.

I am now done with work for the next 7 weeks. It sounds like a long time, but when I start to think about everything that is happening in that amount of time it quickly becomes clear that I need a longer summer break. Brien likes to point out that he is still working during this time, so I really don't have anything to complain about. After all he needs to:

put in a fence in around our giant yard
sand and finish the hardwood floors (I can't be home for this)
put up baseboards and molding in the living room, bedroom, and hallway
frame out the windows
and we need to do the baby's room

The baby's redecorating project consists of new carpet, additional electrical outlets, beadboard on the walls, trim and paint. Did I mention that I am around 23 weeks? That means we are more then halfway to the goal line, especially if I deliver early.
