A couple of photos to make Amber happy

Since someone has insisted, here's a bad pictoral for y'all.

We went snowshoeing close to town this past weekend:
I had on so many layers that I was lucky my jacket was able to just barely close. Jack had lots of fun running back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, and did I mention back and forth in the snow.

Jan. 14th we went to "Fire and Ice" to check out the snow/ice sculptures. Our friend, Dave, did this octopus. Brien wanted us to plan on entering next year, I convinced him he should first help Dave for a few years before we create our own entry. By the way it was wicked cold outside, around 0 (zero) degrees at dusk, so we waited in our truck to watch the awesome fireworks show.

This was a replica of Abraham Lincoln (from the Lincoln Memorial), we joked about Jack peeing on the president, and then he did pee on the president. Brien was using snow to wipe off/cover up the pee mark. I just kept laughing a took a few pictures of the process.

We just think this is a cute picture of the dog. When we crumple paper Jack knows that we will be throwing the paper wad for him to destroy. At Christmas he was getting very worked up as we opened our gifts. Brien held this present of Jack's on the ground so he could tear at the wrapping paper and open it on his own. It's a down throw that I bought for him so he can feel nice and toasty as he sleeps on his pillow so he won't climb into bed with us.

Ahhh, the joy of layering to keep warm. Remember those days on the mission? I think it was a ward joke in Skowhegan to find out how many layers of thermals Sister Arbuckle was wearing...highest number of layers (including skirt/sweater and coat)? I think that would have to be 7: 4 thermal layers, tights, skirt and sweater (with a shirt underneath that) and the coat. Gotta love Maine.

Oh, and I love that you said "wicked." I thought it was wicked awesome.
