Just as a note, the camera cord is still MIA. Or I should say I keep forgetting to ask Brien where it is since I don't know what it looks like unless it is plugged into the computer.
We were fortunate to spend Christmas in Ely. Our third Christmas together, but our first married Christmas, and the first in our new house. Cidnee was nice enough to give us ornaments commemorating these special events. We didn't get back to Las Vegas for the one last shopping trip before Christmas, so we were fortunate that she was so thoughtful enough. Brien was lucky that I was able to find gifts for him on-line and get the display of the Hallmark Star Trek ship (NCC-1701) ornament in town. We were fortunate to spend boxing day and the 27th in Las Vegas before returning to Ely for a night and then zipping of to West Jordan to spend New Year's with the Parks.
Our resolution to be healthier this year is being cemented in competion. We have a "Biggest Loser" contest that just started on the Park side. Brien is determined to be the big winner. He's convinced that the competion doesn't have enough weight to lose to even compete with him. We have both set the reasonable goal of losing 30 lbs. in the next six months. I'm sure that mentions of positive progress will be forthcoming. Silence will likely mean that we are plateauing. I'm happy to report that I have done more exercising in the past two weeks, although it hasn't been enough. I am trying to build routines and habits back into my life, so it might take 4-6 weeks to feel that I am being consistent.
I can't think of a good conclusion to this post, so we will end with an abrupt "au revoir."

Yeah, I still have not learned to create my own post. The camera cord says "Camera" on it. I know how that can be confusing.
I recognized the difficulty Andrea had with working in the den so I cleaned it up last week. Now the cord is in one of two boxes or sitting on top of the computer. I will find it tonight and all that wanted pictures can peep into our life.
I can't even post without issues.
Brien.
Yay for Brien!
I demand pictures! (I'm bossy like that).
Steve and I are also trying to get healthy and lose weight. I've got some lofty goals that I'm needing to blog about soon.
