I've Fallen in Love

While blog-stalking last week I came across a link for a most wonderful blog. It's called Knock-Off Wood. They post FREE plans for furniture and home accessories. The best part is that it's nice looking stuff. I believe they started about 5-6 months ago, so I think that was after we bought Z's toddler bed. They have nice, simple plans for beds (even showing some modifications, like how to add an arch into the head/footboards), bookshelves, tables, side tables, benches, tv consoles. It's really incredible. I have found so many plans that I love. When Z gets moved out of her toddler bed she will very likely end up in a bed that we make based on plans from the site. They have a flickr group (I haven't checked it out yet) where people post projects that they complete. The blog also frequently posts pictures of finished projects, so uncreative people like me can see different ways to finish the same project. It's really an incredible site and I'm looking forward to making up my mind on which project I'll make when the weather turns consistently nice here.
