To update from the last post, we had a great visit with Brien's parents. I was able to accomplish all of the essentials, so my house looked acceptable for the in-laws. We had a wonderful dinner together, went on a nice little hike, it was a good visit.
I'm starting to feel confined here in Ely. That means that we need to plan a quick trip out of town. We have decided to spend part of our government stimulus check and use part of it to pay down bills. I look forward to spending.
Random good news: with the new dog shampoo we don't have as much of the wet dog smell. The shampoo scent seems to neutralize the wet dog odor. This makes me sooo happy.
Baby likes her sweet potatoes, but they make for much smellier diapers. This morning her diaper was so saturated that she wet the bed, then, a few hours later, digested sweet potatoes oozed out the back of the diaper. I decided that today was a laundry day.
We put a "house for sale" sign out front yesterday. Today I received a phone call from a friend questioning whether we were moving. I pointed out to her that the sign had a arrow on it and and address directing people to our friend's house up the street.
Nothing else comes to mind. I just want to thank you for reading our family blog, with all of the exciting events. I love all the comments, it makes both of us feel special.

I know two little girls and a mommy who would love to play with Zarina.
We love you here in Las Vegas.
Why do you have a for sale sign for another property in your yard? Confussing!
Wow, I almost thought you guys were trying to tell us all something. I guess you will be staying in Ely for a while longer.
