Middle School Peer Pressure
I love that middle school students think they can use peer pressure on me, a grown adult. My favorite example is when I am enforcing a rule/procedure someone might say, "I thought you were cool" or "I thought you were nice." I guess my smile and friendly personality gives the students the impression that I will let them get away with anything. I just want to tell the 8th grade football jocks, "You may be a cute boy, but I am a woman and your charming attitude does not cloud my vision."
