Dress Shirts and Vaccuums

When you come across something good you should share, right? So, for those of you who haven't already heard, Brien and I love our Dyson vaccuum. We have an Animal Dyson and we love it. It is disgusting how much dirt and pet hair we are able to trap. I have to say that it takes the award for "Best Purchase using Target Giftcards." We were lucky that people were so generous when we got married.

The other thing I love are Brien's white dress shirts. The brand is Joseph & Feiss International. When you buy one of the shirts that is "no-iron" they really mean it. I don't know how the other shirts are, but you pull the no-iron out of the dryer and it practically looks like it was already ironed. (This coming from a girl who used to iron clothes with no wrinkles so they would have the "ironed" look.) A pet-peeve of mine is seeing wrinkly or non-ironed looking dress shirts at church or in business situations, so if this satisfies me you know it has to be good. The lines stay crisp on the sleeves and even those little pleats that are on the shoulderblades. When we first got married Brien had one of these shirts for over a year and I could not believe that he had never ironed it. He bought a second one with french cuffs, so he can use the cufflinks I gave him for the wedding, and it's just as wonderful as the last one. (We bought the shirt at Mens Wearhouse, I'm not sure what other stores sell them. They are a little steep (reg. price $40, I think), but worth every penny.

Dysons are the best. I want one when I get married....or maybe just when I move out of Mom and Dad's basement and don't have access to theirs anymore. : )
