It's about 10:15am. Zarina is finally waking up, or at least making a few noises. Last night she did not want to go to bed and she wouldn't fall asleep while being held. Finally, at 11:30pm we just put her in bed and let her cry it out, for 30 minutes. That would mean that I wasn't allowed to sleep until midnight. Poor Brien had to get up on time and go to work. I checked on her around 9:15 this morning (when I got up) to make sure that she was still alive.
My time to myself is now limited for this morning. I have to wonder if I'll get to try out the new chocolate chip cookie recipe that my friend shared on her blog. If they work out for me I'll share the recipe with you, if Angela says it's okay. I have to test the recipe to make sure that she didn't leave out any ingredients, that's what the MIL would do on "Everybody Loves Raymond."

Mmmmm cookies. I just ate lunch but I'm still hungry. Cookies sound good, but I should probably make granola first since I'm out of grocery money and I don't want hot cereal for a week.
That's so funny! I promise didn't leave out any ingredients. However, my sister tried to making them and they went flat. That is the recipe that I always follow and they have always turned out for me. Hopefully they turn out great for you! You are welcome to share the recipe.
That's funny that Zarina slept in so late. Between the time change and Karen being sick, she has been sleeping in until 10. It does kind of make you worry though that they stopped breathing or something!
I hope the cookies turn out...and that you don't have another late night with Z. Good luck with both.
I hope you get more rest tonight. Miss you guys!!! I do love that little girl, she's so cute!!
