I've been craving brownies, and posting
the recipe the other day only made me want them more. Zarina and I decided to have our brownies a la mode, with mint chip ice cream.
For dinner we had a
quiche from Betty Crocker, and didn't even dye the eggs green to keep with the theme for the day. (We just buy the pie crust for the quiche. This filling makes 2 shallow 9 in. quiche, or 1 deep dish 9 in. quiche. The shallow quiche is nice because it cooks through quicker. We also bake our crusts for a few minutes before adding the filling, or else the crust can be quite soggy.)

I never shared the Valentine treat I made,
whoopie pies (click for recipe). Two soft, chocolate cookies with, in this case, a marshmallow frosting filling. They were very sugary and delicious. The recipe made about 18 pies, so we were able to share with our neighbors.

Thank you for sharing!! They were yummy!
I wish I was your neighbor still.
I would say that we modified the Quiche recipe to use ham instead of bacon and sourcream instead of cream or half-and-half. We also use bell peppers for flavor and color.
Oh Whoopie pies look good too!
