So this is a few weeks late, but I thought I would post a picture of my birthday cake that Brien so lovingly made for me. He actually made me two cakes. The first chocolate cake was from scratch, but it didn't turn out right, so we decided to throw it away and use a Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix.
I saw a cake in a magazine that was frosted white with a black spiderweb, I decided I liked thee idea, but wanted more color in my cake. In the upper right corner you can see the spider. Brien was quite sweet to decorate my cake the way I wanted. The frosting was from scratch (we try to avoid hydrogenated oils when we can) and for between the layers he made a chocolate frosting. It was moist and delicious.
There are 3 candles then 1 candle to signify age. I am wearing the plastic tiara I bought at Disneyland a few years ago.
