Beginning of July, around the 4th, she started babbling regularly with vowels. Example, "dadada day." instead of "grrrrrrrrrrrr." She also does lots of, "nananana," and a few. "mamama." I'm trying to coach her to have "mama" as the first word, but I'll repeat any sounds she makes back to her.
After hating tummy time, she's now decided it's okay. Zarina is accustomed to the hardwood floors. She likes to pivot on her belly and (unintentionally) pushes herself backwards. The floors make it easy for her to slip around. She's not a roller though. After experimenting with rolling over for a few weeks she now prefers to stay on the side you lay her down on.
Now a few cute photos (since she just started crying):

She is getting so big! Hallie loves to "read" too. Hahaha.
I like the new look of your blog (or maybe it was already changed and I am just now noticing). I know I've said this before, but your daughter is adorable! I love to look at sleeping babies...so peaceful!
P.S. did you ever get the stitchery? I have been wondering if it made it to you.

I love the sleeping picture.
Is she staying with her favorite Aunt in September?
We would LOVE to have her!!
I bet she'd even be ready to DEVOUR a good book at such a young age! Literally! :) Such a cutie!
I hope she sleeps like that when we're camping.
Lilah was doing a silly dance this afternoon about camping and a campfire. She is way excited to see you, even though you won't read this till we're back.
