Brien was joking that she was egg-shaped.
(By the way he painted those pictures you see in the background.)
~~~~~~~
I had become sunburned on Saturday, so I look a bit pink in the face.
(Brien added a long-sleeved undershirt to make sure she stayed warm at church.)
~~~~~~~
The eggs we decorated this year. One of our true traditions. Brien made the twine egg, flower egg, and beaded egg.
That leaves my egg creations as the button egg, sequin egg,
webby egg, and Spock egg (yes, I'm talented).
~~~~~~~
Saturday before Easter Brien was able to burn some weeds. He's been itching to do this all winter, so we are glad the snow melted and he could fulfill his fantasy.
~~~~~~
Now that Brien returned from his 3 week geomorphology (landforms) training in Las Cruces, New Mexico, we are able to accompany him on his 2-day statewide soil scientist retreat in Winnemucca, Nevada (about a 5 hour drive). We stopped on the road between Austin and Battle Mountain to feed the baby and decided to take a quick picture. The most scenic section of mountain range is hiding behind us.

Very cute pictures! Those eggs that you guys made are really cool. I like the spiderweb one, you guys are both very artistic!
Wow! I never knew you two had so many talents! The eggs look great and so do the pictures on the wall! I love Zarina's Easter dress! She looks so cute in it!
I love the eggs. Not just boring painting them, but textural! Spock is very nice andrea.
We used to burn weeds in Barstow. I would love to do that again.
Your eggs are fantastic!! The button one and the web are my favorites. Your baby is very cute too- love the dress!
The girls love the eggs!
I think Zarina is bound to have many talents.
Hi
she looks beautiful in her dress! Smart Dad, I was a bit worried about the sleevelessness but knew you would figure it out. hope you have enjoyed your travels I am sure you will be glad to be home. I am very proud of my multitalented children, good jobs guys.

You and Brien are too much for me. I get exhausted just reading about all of the cute and crafty things you do. So far I've learned that you make pumpkin patch cakes at Halloween, your own Christmas stockings, decorate Valentine's Day goodies, make Easter cards, and create designer Easter eggs. Not to mention completely remodeling your house and painting pictures for the baby's room. I'm sure I've left other things out. Sounds like Martha Stewart may have some competition :)

Your eggs are so neat, Alison will want to try them! And Zarina is adorable in her dress! I also have always wanted to burn weeds like my grandpa did. Burn some for me, I have to resort to chemicals that don't really work!
