Christmas in January

Please excuse the bad formatting, but I'm not able to fix it.

First I thought I would share with you a few of the things I made for Christmas. I made stockings for Brien and I, but in the only picture I have of our stockings you can't see his very well. Mine is the red elfin stocking and his is the sideways one to the left. Brien decided that we (read "Andrea") should also make stockings as part of our gift to the family members we were responsible for. I should point out that Brien personally selected the material for everyone's stocking and he purchased the sparkly ric rac that trims each girl's sock. We like to say, "Designed by Brien, created by Andrea." So the pink sock and tree sock were for Brandon and Cidnee (it was their first married Christmas, so Brien thought this was a great gift) and the striped stockings were for our neices Kyla (pink) and Reese (purple multi) who have just barely moved back from Florida and their stockings were packed away.

While in LV for Thanksgiving Brien found a fun polar fleece in the remnants bin and told me I could make him some shorts out of it. I was able to make these during the day while he was working, so he was completely surprised and excited to get them. While they didn't turn out perfectly I was happy with the end result.

That's genuine excitement.

Brien made everyone smile.

Finally just a few pictures from opening presents with Zarina. She had a good Christmas. Just so you don't think she was forgotten about, Grandma Harvey made her a beautiful stocking, I just didn't get a picture of it before it was packed away.

What an action shot!

Everyone loves a cute little baby.
