Old news is better than no news.

You may have noticed that I haven't blogged in a while. Things just got busy the end of July through August and there was no time. Then I fell out of the habit. In my defense I did try about a month ago, but blogger was down, so I just uploaded a few pictures to Facebook instead.

There are so many things that we have been through these past months.

I'm going to try to pick back up. I need to edit our birthday pictures. Then there was, Halloween, Yosemite, and King's Canyon (it was a crazy 9 days) , so my goal will be to share some of those this weekend. All these photos are at least 6-7 weeks old. I really just need to post something to get back on the ball.

We love Zarina. She's now 2. It's really crazy. She's so independent and has a fun personality.

We took a picnic dinner up into the mountains close by. We saw some beautiful, young bristlecone trees. Zarina tried to show us how far she could walk. We were also able to see a huge herd of elk, there were 40-50 and some of them had awesome racks. I love Z's face in this picture.

Z is modeling the bonnet I made for the Pioneer trek Brien and I were able to go on. She loved wearing this bonnet.

Zarina isn't very shy with family. She loves her Uncle Wil, really anyone that will read a book and give her some attention.
She loves to hide under her crib. She gets annoyed when we have the side dropped down, so she can't get under the bed. Her toddler bed should arrive this week, hopefully it will have enough clearance to keep her happy.

Zarina loved the juicy, little peaches that came off our tree. The day of this picture she ate 4 of them close together. When she got to the pit she would pop it into her mouth and then reach her arm out to point across the yard to the peach tree, asking for more.

Zarina loved visiting the Great Salt Lake. She got quite wet, and enjoyed every minute of it. It was the largest body of water she had been in. Next summer we'll need to get her in the water more.
