Brien has ripped off some sheetrock in the bedroom so he can put in a window we got from my parents. I get anxiety pains in my chest when I hear him banging around in there. Next week we will be painting the new sheetrock and do any other wall touch ups. Next weekend he plans on refinishing the bedroom floors and then putting up the molding and baseboards after that so we can have a finished bedroom. We are currently squashed into the baby's room with all of our stuff. It's quite cramped.
We also have plans to refinish the living room and hallway floors the 2nd weekend in August. I will be down in Las Vegas for Carolyn's bridal shower; so I won't be able to get in the way.
After that we need to get the baby's room done. We have bought the paint, but nothing else yet.
Baby is doing well as far as I can tell. I'm at the beginning of my 28th week. When I went in for my last appointment I had actually lost a couple of pounds. I think it's because the summer is so hot and miserable that I just don't have much of an appetite.

You guys are so much better at home improvement than Jon and I. Of course we now have to save up for any repairs and that's the hard part.
I'm glad to hear things are coming along though.
Are you putting the window on the front or side of the house in the room?
Brien just finished installing the window, now he needs to put up new sheetrock!
It's in the front of the house because it doesn't get as much sun. If we are stuck here long enough we will be adding on to the side of the house as well so it wasn't worth it to put it there.
Wow- he's ambitious! I think we need pictures. So glad you're posting. :D I wish I was still in Vegas so I could attend the festivities. Or that it was Labor Day weekend- cause we'll be down there.
